Electrical Repair & Troubleshooting in Central Florida

Breakers tripping, outlets dead, lights flickering — we find the fault and repair it.

Overview

Electrical repair work starts with finding the actual fault, not replacing parts until the symptom stops. A breaker that trips every evening, an outlet that quit, or lights that dim when the AC starts each point to a different problem — a loose termination, an overloaded circuit, a failing device or damaged conductor.

Our electricians trace the circuit, test under load, and show you what was wrong before repairing it. Most calls are service and troubleshooting work rather than installations, so the goal is a correct, code-compliant fix on the existing system. When the diagnosis points to a larger issue, such as a panel at the end of its life, we say so and price that separately as an electrical panel upgrade.

ABE’S Electric is based in Kissimmee and takes repair calls throughout Orlando and Central Florida, scheduled during our shop hours, Monday through Friday.

Problems We Get Called For

Breakers That Keep Tripping

A breaker doing its job is telling you something: too much load on the circuit, a short, a ground fault, or a breaker that has weakened and now trips below its rating. We measure the load and test the circuit rather than simply swapping the breaker.

Dead Outlets & Switches

A receptacle with no power is often a tripped GFCI upstream, a back-stabbed connection that failed, or a break in the circuit inside a box. We find the open point and repair the connection or replace the device.

Flickering Or Dimming Lights

Flicker can come from a loose neutral, a failing fixture or driver, an overloaded circuit, or an issue on the incoming service. Whole-house flicker in particular should be looked at quickly, because loose service connections can overheat.

Part Of The Building Lost Power

When one room or one wing goes dark while everything else works, the fault is usually on a single circuit or a feeder. We isolate the affected circuit, test it and repair the failure point.

Burning Smell, Heat Or Buzzing

Warm cover plates, scorch marks, buzzing devices or a burning smell mean stop using the circuit. Shut it off if you safely can and call us.

Repairs After An Inspection Or Storm

Failed inspection items, insurance-required corrections, and storm or surge damage to circuits, devices and equipment are routine repair work for our service crews.
