EV Charger Installation

Level 2 home charging and workplace stations, wired on a dedicated circuit sized for the equipment and your panel.

Overview

An EV charger installation is a dedicated circuit job. The charger itself is straightforward hardware; the work is confirming the property has the capacity, running the right conductors on a properly sized dedicated circuit, and mounting and terminating everything so it holds up to daily use in a Florida garage or parking area.

Most home installations are Level 2, which uses a 240-volt circuit and charges far faster than a standard wall outlet. We check the existing panel and load first, then set the circuit size to the charger’s requirements and the distance of the run.

We install home charging around Kissimmee, Orlando and Central Florida, and handle commercial and workplace charging where a business wants stations for staff, tenants or customers.

What The Install Involves

Home Level 2 Charging

A 240-volt Level 2 circuit gives usable overnight charging for daily driving. We place the unit where the cord reaches the vehicle's port comfortably and keep the run as clean as the garage or exterior wall allows.

Electrical Capacity Evaluation

Before anything is ordered we look at the service size and existing load. That determines whether the charger can be added as-is, needs panel space freed up, or calls for a larger service.

Dedicated Circuits

EV chargers require their own circuit sized to the equipment. Sharing a circuit with other loads is not an option, which is why panel space matters as much as the charger you choose.

Panel Considerations

If the panel is full or the service is undersized, the charger install pairs with a subpanel or an upgrade. We price that clearly instead of forcing a marginal installation.

Outdoor & Detached Locations

Driveways, carports and detached garages need the appropriate wiring method, weather-rated equipment and correct burial or support for the run.

Commercial EV Charging

For businesses, we handle feeder and panel work, conduit and trenching coordination, mounting and bollard placement, and circuits for multiple stations.
